The Bills won a Super Bowl The Buffalo Bills won their second Super Bowl in four seasons.
The team finished the season with a 16-2 record and won the AFC North.
The Patriots came in second, but only after the Bills lost to the Indianapolis Colts in overtime in Super Bowl LI.
New England defeated the Bills 28-27 in overtime on Jan. 31.

Bills coach Rex Ryan wins the NFL’s coach of the year award Rex Ryan is the NFL coach of a record 14 straight seasons, winning the award four times.
Ryan became the first coach in league history to win the award two seasons in a row.
He also led the Bills to a record 8-8 record in 2016.
Ryan is a five-time Pro Bowler who has led the team to four consecutive NFC East titles and two consecutive AFC South titles.
He is currently the most successful coach in the NFL.

The Raiders won the Super Bowl Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is named the NFL MVP.
Carr has thrown for more than 3,000 yards in each of his four NFL seasons.
Carr is one of the most dominant quarterbacks in the league.
He led the Raiders to a franchise-record 49-3 record and a playoff berth in 2016, but they fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship.
Carr led the Steelers to their first Super Bowl appearance since 2006.

NFL teams earn $2.6 billion for their 2018 free agency period NFL teams made more than $1 billion in free agency this past season, according to Forbes.
The number is up from the $1.3 billion in 2018.
The NFL saw a decrease in spending, with $945 million in new deals signed and another $639 million in contract extensions signed.

ESPN’s Todd McShay says the NFL has a good shot at landing Jimmy Garoppolo, but the competition is fierce ESPN NFL Insider Todd Mcshay says Jimmy Garappolo is one candidate that could land in New England, but he’s “a guy who’s in a great spot.”
McShays report said Garappollo has “one of the best arms in the game” and “has some great stuff in his legs.”
Mcshays report added that he “would be a great fit” with the Patriots.

ESPN Insider Todd Boesch predicts the Patriots are the favorites to land Jimmy Garapio in 2018 The Patriots have made the playoffs in five of the last six seasons.
They have made a Super-Bowl in five out of the past six seasons and have a record of 22-8.
But it’s hard to predict Garappiano’s long-term future with the team.
The former Stanford quarterback had his best season with the Pats in 2016 and had his worst season with New England in 2017.
Garapplio threw for 1,036 yards and 11 touchdowns with nine interceptions.
He was cut by the team in the offseason.
The Pats will have the opportunity to add Garaplio to the roster this offseason if they decide to part ways with Brady and Belichick.

The Ravens have a chance to land Colin Kaepernick In his first year in Baltimore, Colin Kaepernick threw for 3,945 yards and 22 touchdowns with 16 interceptions.
The first-round pick from USC was the third overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft.
He became the 49ers franchise quarterback in 2017, but his team finished 9-7.
Kaepernick is a former first-team All-Pro and the Ravens are hoping to add him to the franchise.

The Jaguars have a shot to land Peyton Manning Colin Kaepernick will make the start for the Broncos this weekend.
The Broncos finished 10-6 last season and are set to make a major jump in the 2018 NFL season.
The franchise quarterback has a history of injuries and has never won a playoff game in his NFL career.
Manning is entering his fourth season in the National Football League.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says he hopes to sign a contract extension with Peyton Manning The New England Patriots quarterback has reached an agreement to play for the Indianapolis Broncos, the league announced Tuesday.
The move could come as early as this week.
Goodell said Manning will sign an extension for at least the next four years, but could sign a new deal sooner.
The new deal will include a player option for 2021.
