The Edmonton Oilers traded Sam Reinhardt to the New York Rangers for a fifth-round pick and a conditional first-round selection on Tuesday.
The Oilers had two first-rounder and two second-round picks this year.
Edmonton traded its first- and third-rounders in a deal for Reinhart on June 1, and the Oilers then dealt the third-rounder to Dallas for defenseman Andrej Sekera.
Reinhart, 23, has two goals and three assists in 16 games with the Oilers.
He had three goals and five assists in 15 games for the Rangers last season.
