The Wildcats beat No., 1 Kansas, 74-64, in three straight.
Kansas won its sixth straight tournament series and will face No., 4 Michigan State in the semifinals.
The Big Ten Tournament, which starts Thursday in Dayton, Ohio, was a three-day affair with six games scheduled over three days.
The winner of each game will advance to the Sweet 16, where it will face the winner of the national title game between No. 1 Kentucky and No. 10 Oklahoma.
The loser will play No. 3 Kentucky in the national semifinals.
Purdue won its third straight tournament championship and has advanced to a second Sweet 16 in four years.
The Boilermakers are now 19-7 in the tournament.
They are 8-5 in the Big Ten Conference Tournament.
