NBA owners will meet in a meeting in New Jersey on Friday to discuss salaries for players and how they are paid.
The league’s owners will decide on the compensation for the upcoming season.
The meeting comes after the league’s Players Association filed a grievance over the lack of salary increases for players this season, including players who missed time with injuries.
The grievance says that the league is not offering enough raises to keep players engaged.
A source told ESPN that the owners’ meeting is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET.
