And, if you don’t believe me, try telling a Michigan fan who is a big Michigan fan to sit down for a beer at a Michigan Stadium tailgate and watch the Wolverines play.
Michigan State is coming off a 27-14 loss to Ohio State on Thursday night.
After that, the Spartans play four more Big Ten games before they play their final Big Ten game of the year at Ohio State.
Michigan has a three-game winning streak, which also includes wins over Purdue, Wisconsin and Ohio State, but the Spartans still have a ways to go to win the conference.
They’ll play two more Big East teams before they travel to Indiana on Dec. 2.
That’s the first game of Michigan’s eight-game Big Ten schedule, which is slated to start on Dec: Michigan State vs. Ohio State and Michigan vs. Purdue, Dec. 5 at home.
The Spartans will play two nonconference games: at Purdue on Dec 9 and at Maryland on Dec 10.
The schedule is slated for a bowl, too, but it doesn’t mean we won’t see some Wolverines on the field in the Big Ten championship game.

Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin are all on the road to face Michigan St. in a Big Ten title game.
Michigan is scheduled to play four Big Ten opponents in 2017.
Michigan is coming in as a 4-8 team.
The Big Ten is 8-2, but Ohio State is 8th in the nation and Michigan is 8rd in the conference standings.
Michigan’s next game is against Ohio St. at noon on Saturday, Jan 3, at Joe Louis Arena in Chicago.
Michigan will play the Buckeyes again in 2017, with a rematch against Wisconsin the last Big Ten meeting.
Michigan will be playing its second consecutive Big Ten matchup with Wisconsin in 2018.
That game will be against Michigan in 2018 and Michigan State in 2019.
Michigan was a 2-10 team before it beat Ohio State in the first round of the 2017 Big Ten tournament.
It lost to Penn State in that game and fell in the semifinals of the conference tournament.
Michigan hasn’t played in an NCAA tournament game since the 2010-11 season.
Michigan had to play two games in conference play this season: a game against Northwestern in the second round of that year’s tournament, and a game with Nebraska in the NCAA tournament.
