The league’s preseason schedule is shaping up to be an interesting one.
The NFL is on pace to have two exhibition games in Arizona on Thursday night and two on Sunday, which could be more than enough time to get players out on the field for the first time in months.
The New Orleans Saints have not practiced or practiced since Monday and are still waiting to get back from a six-game absence due to a concussion, and the Philadelphia Eagles have yet to practice and the San Francisco 49ers are not scheduled to start their preseason until next week.
But there’s plenty of good news coming out of the preseason, as teams are finally starting to get healthy.
With two preseason games scheduled for Thursday night, it should be a fun and entertaining slate of games.
The first preseason game will be played at the New Orleans Superdome on Thursday.
The Saints host the New England Patriots on Thursday, while the Eagles host the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.
The Panthers play the Arizona Cardinals on Monday, and a game between the New York Jets and Washington Redskins is also scheduled for Monday.
The Patriots, Falcons and Saints are also scheduled to play on Sept. 9 in Buffalo, New York.
The Eagles will play the Philadelphia 76ers on Sept 18 in Philadelphia.
The Cowboys will play against the Washington Redskins in Arlington, Texas.
The Cardinals will play in Philadelphia, and an exhibition game between Atlanta and the Chicago Bears will be on Sept 25.
The Cowboys will also play against Atlanta on Sept 30.
The 49ers will play at the Chicago White Sox on Sept 27.
The Rams will play their first preseason contest on Sept 22 in San Diego.
The Dolphins will play a preseason game at home against the Carolina Panthers on Sept 26.
The Titans will play three preseason games in Nashville on Sept 28.
The Jaguars will play two preseason contests at home in Baton Rouge on Sept 29.
The Seahawks will play four preseason games at home with a trip to London on Sept 23.
The Browns will play on the road against the Miami Dolphins in London on Oct. 6.
The Colts will play twice at home.
The Vikings will play once in Columbus, Ohio, in Columbus on Oct 13.
The Falcons will play one preseason game in Atlanta on Oct 14.
The Buccaneers will play again in Tampa on Oct 15.
The Bears will play seven preseason games.
The Rams and Titans will face off twice in Minneapolis on Oct 17.
The Raiders will play six preseason games with a visit to Baltimore on Oct 19.
The Redskins will play 10 preseason games, including six home games.
There will also be a preseason matchup between the Rams and Lions in Minneapolis.
The Packers will play eight preseason games during the season.
The Jets will play five games in Buffalo.
The Steelers will play 14 preseason games and the Cardinals will also visit the city in October.
The Bills and Jets will also each host an exhibition contest.
The Broncos will play 11 preseason games over three weeks in Denver on Oct 18.
The Chargers will play nine games, which is their longest preseason schedule to date.
The Texans will play all eight preseason contests, which should make for a fun series between the Texans and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Bengals will play 13 preseason games starting on Oct 20.
The Ravens will play an exhibition preseason game on Oct 23.
